Seth T. Pardo

Seth is a PhD graduate student in the Department of Human Development at Cornell University. Seth's primary research interests explore transgender identity development and the expanding range of self-identity conceptualizations among this population. Increasingly, medical decision making plays a key role in the actualization of a trans self. With mentorship and advising from Dr. Valerie Reyna, Seth has begun a program of research aimed to test how identity impacts risk perception, rational cognitive processing, and medical decision making.
